POLICE have interviewed two men in relation to a fireat the Junction Hotel in Ravenswood last year.
Bendigo Criminal Investigation Unit Detective Sergeant Colin Grenfell said detectives travelled to New South Wales on November 5 to interview a former Bendigo man.
He said another man, from Bendigo, was interviewed in Bendigo on the same day.
A 39-year-old man, from Golden Square, was interviewed on September 25.
Detective Sergeant Grenfellsaid the men were released and no charges were laid.
He said the fire remained suspicious.
The historichotel, on the Calder Highway,sustained $300,000 damage during the blaze on June 9.
The fire was discovered at 9.35pm and was believed to have started at about 9pm.
The hotel had not been in operation for more than 12 months at the time of the fire, and the owners were using it as their place of residence.
The owners were away from the property on the night of the fire.
It had been on the market since January last year.
